Saturday, July 23, 2011, BlueCat Motors will be closed so that we can attend one of our absolute favorite events, the annual Bearded Lady Motorcycle Freak Show. Put on by friend of the shop CT Thomas, it’s a moto event that has to be seen to be believed. It’s got everything: motorcycles, scooters, rat bikes, choppers, backyard customs, motorized bicycles, live music, great street food, cigarette girls, folks decked out in dias de muertos makeup, dudes in dresses, and so much more. We’ll be there with our bikes, hanging out and seeing the sights, but more importantly, we’re going to do what we do best: we’re gonna help. Rather than hawking merch or just sitting on our bikes looking badass, we’re going to be around to answer questions and give advice to anybody who needs it. So if you’ve ever wondered what that noise is in your exhaust, or how hard it would be to turn that barn find into a daily runner, we’ll be around. Just come ask us.
